People say money can’t buy you happiness, but the person who said this probably didn’t plan on visiting the space anyway. He probably didn’t know we could travel to the bottom of the ocean either, or fathom travelling at the speed of sound on land if you could afford it.

For those few lucky millionaires out there who can afford their own private island or a jet, here are 3 exciting travel experience’s coming alive in 2021 that you simply can’t afford to miss. These items must be on every jet packing millionaire's bucket list.

  1. Visiting the RMS Titanic

The RMS Titanic sank in the North Atlantic Ocean in the early morning hours of 15 April 1912. Titanic was under the command of Captain Edward Smith, who also went down with the ship. The ocean liner carried some of the wealthiest people in the world.

The wreck of Titanic was discovered in 1985 more than 73 years after the disaster.

The ship has split in two and is gradually disintegrating at a depth of 12,415 feet. Titanic has become one of the most famous ships in history, depicted in numerous works of popular culture, including books, folk songs, films, exhibits, and memorials. Titanic is the second largest ocean liner wreck in the world. This along with the fact that it was considered “The unsinkable ship” makes it one of the most important historical artifacts in existence.

OceanGate is a company which is offering a once in a lifetime Trip.

For over a $100,000 per person, OceanGate’s is offering to take you to the eerie depth’s of the Atlantic Ocean aboard its titanium-and-carbon-fiber submersible vessel.

The eight-day journey sets off from Newfoundland, Canada, and will transport visitors to the mighty vessel’s final resting place, more than two miles below the surface of the Atlantic. The inaugural OceanGate Titanic Survey Expedition promises to be an incredible adventure, a chance to see the monumental sunken Titanic before she succumbs to the harsh environment of the ocean floor.

2. Virgin Hyperloop One

Dubai is set to be home to the world’s first Hyperloop One transport link, which is expected to begin operations for passengers in 2021. It will see travel times between Dubai and Abu Dhabi slashed from 30 minutes to as little as 12 minutes. The 1,200kph speed of the “pods” which travel using magnetic levitation system made up of vacuum tubes and superconductors inside a tunnel named The Hyperloop tunnel. This system propel’s it to speeds in excess of Mach1.0, enabling them to arrive at their destination in minutes rather than hours.

Once operational, passengers will be able to book travel on the Hyperloop with a smartphone app.

With the cost per mile ranging between $84 and $121 million, don’t expect the tickets to be priced anywhere near cheap when operational. But then again, who cares about money when you are getting to travel at the speed of sound in one of the most advanced transportation networks on the planet.

3. Virgin Galactic Space Travel

Over 600 people have forked out $250,000 to reserve a seat on this Richard Branson startup. For that price, passengers who have signed up for the suborbital flight aboard the air-launched plane “VSS Unity”, will strap into their six tailored seats and be able to peer out of the cabin’s 12 circular windows as they ascend 100km (60~70 miles) above Earth.

Virgin Galactic chief space officer George Whitesides said, “Passengers could unbuckle themselves at peak altitude to float around the cabin in zero-gravity conditions”.

Richard Branson, the billionaire founder of the Virgin Group plans to shoot into space early next year in 2021, aboard his Virgin Galactic aircraft VSS Unity, potentially blazing a path for commercial flights. The company plans to reopen ticket sales after this historic trip by the founder.
